We accept print ready artwork in these formats for online upload and proofing:
Uploading artwork in PDF format is the optimal way to provide art for your label project and we highly recommend supplying art in PDF format instead of as an image file. For your convenience, we’ve created a PDF preset for exporting from Adobe applications. You can download it here (link to come) along with installation instructions.
Build your files at 100% scale and add .0625″ bleed to any elements that extend to the page edge. It’s also a good idea to keep important page elements inside the safety area shown in the design template.
Any images or rasterized artwork should be 300ppi for optimal print reproduction. Our proofing system will alert you if your images are lower than this value.
All uploaded files should be in the CMYK colorspace. We will convert from RGB if necessary but some color shifts may occur. Spot colors such as PANTONE colors are accepted as well but we recommend that you do not mix spot colors and transparency effects. Flattening transparency is not necessary.
Convert fonts to outlines or provide art in PDF format which will automatically embed them. Fonts that are not embedded or outlined will not print correctly.
A wide range of special effects are achievable by using white ink with silver and clear substrates. However, proper file setup is crucial. Please read our full tutorial for setting up files for printing with white ink here (link to come).
